Thanks Ron, We Will Miss You

I will remember Ron Moffatt as a friend and a colleague. He was one of the people who welcomed me into the field of international education through Region XII of NAFSA (California, Nevada and Hawaii): Association of International Educators. He was one of the people who welcomed me into the field and NAFSA.
He was a model of how one can be both powerful and gentle. He made a significant difference in the lives of many at SDSU and NAFSA by having a powerful philosophy of the importance of all people and the important impact of student learning through study abroad by US students and for international students to study in the US.
Ron was a very balanced individual who always took time to say hello and give others the feeling that they were important and that their contribution to the field was important as well.
Ron was a colleague that will be missed. I will miss him, but always remember his kind spirit.

Sincerely,

Gary Rhodes, Ph.D., Director
Center for Global Education
Loyola Marymount University
